How to join

For ICO, email icorchestra@gmail.com including your name, contact details, instrument and brief outline of your musical experience,
or just come to a weekly rehearsal at St Lucia Uniting Church hall, corner of Hawken Drive and Swann Rd, St Lucia (opposite Ironside Primary School) on a Thursday evening at 7.15pm.
You are welcome to come for four rehearsals to see if our group fits your needs. After that, you may be auditioned and if accepted and you wish to proceed to membership a fee is due: current fees are $30 per semester for fulltime students and $50 per semester for others. (If you join late in a semester, our Treasurer may negotiate a reduction.) There may be a limitation on the number of players accepted for the section of interest. Our Constitution requires that all members be financial and agree to promote the objectives of the orchestra.

ICO Inc is administered by a committee comprising a President, Secretary, Treasurer, Librarian, the Conductor by invitation, and other members who are elected at an Annual General Meeting. Sub-committees are formed with particular responsibilities such as concert management, recruitment and publicity.
